Why should I use ” True Essence Hair,
“when beauty supply hair is cheaper?
Why True Essence Hair?
True Essence Hair is hair in its most natural form. It looks natural and behaves like your own natural hair. That is why it blends beautifully with your own hair. Also, if you take care of this hair just like your own hair, it lasts for a very long time, sometimes even a year or more. So, if wearing long lasting, natural looking hair is important to you, you must try genuine quality True Essence Hair from a reputable supplier.
True Essence Hair is pricey. But in the long run it is worth the initial investment because it lasts longer than the beauty supply store hair and is a much better value for your money. Beauty supply store hair, which is of “non-remy” quality is relatively cheaper. However, the hair does not look or behave like your own natural hair. In addition to this, the hair starts tangling, gathering and matting after a few washes. Generally, it cannot be reused after the first installation and one needs to buy fresh packs of hair for every subsequent installation. So, if you use beauty supply store hair, you will save some money initially, but in the long run you will end up spending more. This is one area where you definitely get what you pay for. If you just started looking into human hair for your hair extensions or hair weave you may have started to see the word “True Essence Hair” a lot. But, what in the world does this word mean? Well, in the same way you can buy alcoholic beverages and “True Essence Hair” beverages, True Essence Hair refers to hair that is unaltered. It has not been treated with anything like chemicals or colorings. It comes as is, with the cuticle still attached to the hair. This is the best hair you can buy. However, not all human hair is True Essence Hair!
Once it has been treated, it is no longer virgin, though it still is human. Kind of confusing, but once you see the difference and you read more about it, it will begin to make more sense.
True Essence Hair is considered to be of “premium” quality. The cuticle, which should still be attached to the hair, is left there for a reason – it keeps the hair from becoming tangled and matted. And it gives the hair a more natural look and feel. For commercial purposes, Remy hair comes in two types – single and double drawn. Single drawn refers to hair that is taken directly from the scalp of the shaved head. MUCH care is taken in order to remove the different hairs on the head. You will find both short and long hairs with this option. The double drawn look is the finest caliber with the same wave length in a piece. The hairs are arranged with equal lengths. There will not be any short hair in a piece. This is also the more expensive of the two because more time is taken to collect and sort out the various hair lengths. You will ONLY get one hair length in each pack with this option, but again, you can buy various pack lengths. Usually they start at around 14 inches and go up to 24 inches in length. The longer the length, the more expensive it will be. Non-Remy Hair is perhaps the most popular and unremarkable available kind of hair. Non-Remy Hair is also known as \’fallen hair\’. The roots and tips of hairs are all mixed up in Non Remy Hair. Knotting is a problem as a result of this, but still since they are inexpensive, they are the biggest selling form of hair in the world. There are two main types of Non-Remy hair. The first is Tangle Free. This type of non Remy hair is obtained by shaving off the cuticles. This procedure reduces the chances of friction among hairs and what remains is tangle free hair. The other type is Normal. This is the least expensive type of hair, but it\’s also the lowest quality of hair as well since the cuticles are in various directions and therefore it is prone to tangling, knotting and matting. Obviously the choice is up to you. But, if you can spend a little more and you want really great looking hair – that LOOKS and FEELS real, real “True Essence Hair” is the way to go for any styling options – have it be hair extensions, extensions clip, clip hair, wigs or hair weaves!

What should I know before I decide to use this kind of hair? The first thing you should know about True Essence Hair is that it is totally unprocessed 100% natural hair. The hair you purchase will have a natural texture and color. Hair Care : When it comes to Glam by Kimmy Hair , you have to care for your extensions just like your own natural hair. You need to brush your hair frequently. You need to shampoo and condition your hair regularly, especially if you use a lot of hair products. Deposits from the hair products, if not washed off on a regular basis, can degrade the quality of the hair (just like your own hair) and combined with the use of heat can affect the smooth natural feeling and behavior of the hair. If you maintain your True Essence Hair extension properly, you will have sleek, smooth, tangle free beautiful natural looking hair for a very long time and will be able the reuse the hair many times after. Texture : The natural texture of True Essence Hair varies from slightly wavy to deep curly. Deep curly hair is not very abundant and always short in supply. Slightly wavy to deep wavy hair texture is most abundant in natural
True Essence Hair.
If you are looking for bone straight hair or a very specific curl pattern, you may not get exactly that kind of texture off-the-shelf. Typically
True Essence Hair is sold in three textures (a) Natural Straight (which is actually lightly wavy) (b) Natural Wavy (c) Curly (the curl tightness may vary slightly). However, True Essence Hair is so versatile that you can very quickly flat iron your hair to get your sleek straight look or curl it to your desired style. Color : Grand CheVeux Hair comes in natural shades of black and dark brown and everything in between.
True Essence Hair is never sold by specific “color codes”. Since True Essence Hairis never colored and it is sold in its natural state, there may be slight variation in color between bundles. However, if this is the case don’t get disappointed. This is actually a good thing. Your experienced hair stylist knows how to blend two packs of hair with slight color variation. And when it is blended properly, this actually gives you a more natural look and better depth of color, because in our own head, hair naturally has multiple shades of color and is never of one flat color
What does “weft” mean?
Usually the type of hair used in weaving hair extensions method is “wefted hair”. Hair “weft” pieces are made by sewing hair together on the root side of the hair and keeping it freely hanging on the tip side, making it look like a hair curtain. Hair wefts are made either by hand (Hand Tied Weft) or by using specialized sewing machines (Machine Weft). Hand-tied wefts are thinner, but have limitations because they cannot be cut without unraveling and falling apart of the hair at the cut ends. Hence, for hand-tied wefts the cut ends need to be sealed by applying glue. On the other hand machine wefts are a bit thicker, but since its stitches are highly reinforced, the weft can be cut at any place without unraveling. Typically, it is stylists who prefer one weft over the other. As far as consumers are concerned, both types of wefts can give them the desired look and result.
Can I cut your weft?
Yes. Our wefts are “machine wefts” and are well reinforced. Hence, our wefts can be cut without any unraveling. What is the width of a weft? Since, wefts are sold by weight, how wide a weft is depends on the actual length of the hair – the longer the hair, the shorter the width of the weft. Therefore, in order to cover a larger area of your head you should probably purchase 2 or 3 packs of hair (a 16 inch weft will be approx. 9 feet long).
How much hair should I purchase?
Bonding: 1 pack of hair will be enough for 5-6 layers. Weaving: for a full sew in weave we generally recommend buying 2 packs hair. Since hair does not expire, it is always better to purchase some extra hair. For hair over 18″ of length we recommend purchasing a 3rd pack and save any extra hair for later. The main rule should be: longer hair equals shorter weft width. Also, take into consideration that the number of packs required also depends on the style and volume you desire. For example if you want a celebrity weave with a lot of volume and layers, you will need 3 to 4 packs of hair.
Can my new hair be colored?
Yes, you can color the hair. Our remy hair of premium quality has never been chemically treated and it can therefore handle the coloring process very well. However, once you color or process hair, it will no longer be Grand CheVeux Hair. We therefore recommend consulting a professional if you wish to color your new hair.
Which hair care products work best?
As with your own hair, you should use quality shampoo and conditioner. If you want to keep the hair soft and easy to manage, conditioning is important. Use a deep conditioner once a week and try avoiding oily or heavy styling products. If you are using hair spray or gel to maintain the curls, make sure you wash it out often, as those hair products can make your hair appear limp and oily after a while. How should I treat the hair in the morning? It is recommended that you comb your hair in the morning. If you brush from the ends towards your scalp, part you will prevent excessive pulling and your extensions will last longer.
How should I treat the hair at night?
Make sure your hair is always completely dry when you go to bed. Sleeping on wet hair can tangle your hair and over time may cause hair odor. As long as you never sleep on wet hair, there is nothing to worry about at night. Is it safe to go swimming with my extensions? Yes, but you might want to braid your hair or pull it into a ponytail before you go swimming in order to prevent tangling. Wash the hair afterwards and make sure it is well conditioned. We recommend using a spray-in conditioner when you get out of the water to keep the hair soft and manageable.
How long will my new hair last?
The longevity of our True Essence Hairdepends on how well the hair is maintained. Our hair will last for a long time, and – as with your own hair – will be healthier and stronger when you take good care of it. Due to its natural strength and durability, True Essence Hair will last longer than any other product available in the market of hair extensions.
